Planetary gearboxes series NRG

The planetary gear units of the series NRG are built in 7 sizes, each of which is divided into inline gearboxes (version L) and bevel gearboxes (version R, having input bevel gear pair and V with input worm gearbox version). The L versions are available with either PAM input, for direct coupling with electric motors or with solid input shaft. The R and V versions are only available with PAM input shaft.

The modular design of the units of the new NRG range enables to build up a gearbox according to the application requirements, keeping always inside the range of manufacturing methods expected by the standards of production. Thus, the following options may be chosen, independently from each other:

The planetary gearboxes are supplied painted with a background water anti-oxidation painting, suitable to withstand even outer environments, and such to allow the possible finale painting with synthetic paint. All mating surfaces are not painted.

As option, in some specific applications provided with a vertical mounting position, and in any application where it is necessary to completely fill in the unit with oil, it is strictly recommended to use an expansion tank. This is a device suitable to balance the increase of the oil volume due to the temperature increase or to assure the possible oil refilling in not so easily accessible positions.

Planetary gearboxes are used in many industrial applications, such as: screw conveyors for transport of clays and powders, mixers, agitators, bucket elevators, silos, recycling installation, industrial automation systems, screw conveyors, crushing and crumbling machines.

The planetary gearboxes series NRG are interchangeable with the epycicloidal gearboxes Bonfiglioli, Reggiana, Brevini, Dinamic Oil, Comer.
